I’ve worked in high-stress environments for most of my adult life. While I enjoyed the daily grind, I always dreamed of doing something I truly loved. And if you know me, you know I absolutely love to shop! Whether I’m shopping for myself, my family, or someone else, I’ve always found it therapeutic after a long day or week. But buying clothes and shoes has always held a special place in my heart.

In March 2016, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job. For a couple of weeks, I felt lost — unsure of what was next. Then I remembered my dream. Unfortunately, fear of failure kept me from pursuing it at the time. Instead, I chose the safe route and accepted another high-stress job just two months later.

Fast forward to August 2018: God reminded me of my dream once again — or what some may call my purpose. This time, I decided to step out on faith and trust Him completely.

When it came time to name my business, I combined the nicknames of my two daughters, “Ne-ne” and “Ya-ya,” while also incorporating the pronunciation of my own name, Naiah (pronounced Nay-yah). And just like that, NéYa’s Boutique was born.

As the years passed, both my business and my personal journey evolved. Over time, my relationship with my stepdaughter, Regan, grew into something incredibly special. Not only did our bond deepen, but she also began showing a genuine passion and interest in the business — even more than my biological daughters at times. That growth in our relationship made me realize the brand had become bigger than just me or where the story originally began. It had become a reflection of family, legacy, love, and growth.

That realization inspired the rebrand to NNR & Co. Boutique — representing the initials of all three of my daughters: Neiahjua, Noyajua, and Regan.

While the name has evolved, the heart behind the brand remains the same. My goal is to share my love for fashion by offering stylish, carefully selected pieces at affordable prices while creating a brand that makes women feel confident, beautiful, and seen.

This journey has been both exciting and rewarding, and I am truly grateful for every person who has supported my dream along the way.
